Video Cam Server (VCS)
is a server for
publishing the image
taken from a
Video Camera
(especially
Web Cam
) connected to it. It will be very useful for
remote monitoring
your home, office or other environment.
VCS uses HTTP to publish your image on the internet, therefore, you are able to
access the image using a
Web Browser
(e.g. Internet Explorer, Netscape or etc.)

you to publish your image to your
own server

Embedded Web Server
come together with VCS (also running on your computer), instead of putting the
captured result to the Provider's sites.
If you do not want to host a web server on your personal computer, we provide an
alternative to upload captured image to your web hosting's ftp server.
Access Any Video Cam/ Web Cam
Video Cam Server is based on the DirectShow 9.0 technology, therefore, nearly
all kinds or video camera or web cam are supported. If you have many video
camreas connected simulatanously, you can choose one of the them for
publishing.
What major components are included in

Camera Capture Component -- Responsible to capture image from video source
in a constant interval
Embedded Web Server Component -- Responsible to publish the acquired image
via HTTP
FTP Upload Component -- Responsible to publish the acquired image via FTP
